Protein Apple Crumble

Savor the cozy delight of my vegan and gluten-free protein apple crumble—tender apples topped with a golden, protein-rich crumble made entirely plant-based, offering a simple and heartwarming dessert that everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS

Filling
◦ 1 medium-large apple, peeled and cut into small chunks (I prefer Honeycrips)
◦ 1 tbsp maple syrup
◦ 1 tbsp lemon juice
◦ 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Crumble
◦ 1 /2 cup gluten-free sprouted rolled oats
◦ 1/4 cup textured vegetable protein, dry
◦ 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
◦ 3 tbsp maple syrup
◦ 1 tbsp avocado oil
◦ 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Dairy-free icecream or yogourt as topping (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a small baking dish, add all the ingredients for the filling and mix until everything is well coated.

3. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the crumble until everything is combined.

4. Top the apples with the crumble, spread evenly.

5. Bake in the center of the oven for about 45 minutes.

6. Once it’s done, let it cool for 5 minutes and serve with icecream or vegan yogurt.
