Date Caramel Chocolate Apple Bites

Indulge in a sweet and irresistible treat with these Date Caramel Chocolate Apple Bites—a perfect combination of crisp apples, velvety chocolate, and naturally sweet dates. Whether for a snack or a festive party treat, these bites are sure to delight your taste buds!

INGREDIENTS
◦ 12 Medjool dates, pitted
◦ 1 medium apple
◦ 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
◦ 1 tsp coconut oil
◦ 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds, chopped
◦ 1 tbsp pecans, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. On a cutting board, slightly open the dates and lay them out to form a square shape.
2. Cover with a plastic wrap and with a roller flatten down the dates. Flip the wrap and add the whole apple in the center.
3. Fold in the flatten dates onto the apple and shape it until it covers the whole apple.
4. In a small bowl, add the chocolate chips and the coconut oil and microwave for about 30 seconds. Mix with a spoon. Set aside.
5. Poke the center of the apple with a chopstick, then dip it in the melted chocolate. Make sure to cover the whole apple with the chocolate.
6. Place the apple in a plate and top it off with the chopped nuts and seeds of choice.
7. Freeze for at least 20-30 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
8. Once it’s done, chop the apple into slices.
